What is Lal Kitab?

Lal Kitab is originally written in Urdu by Pt. Rup Chand Joshi ji, belongs to village Farwala, Noormahal, Punjab. The book was published in total five editions in 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942 & 1952 respectively. The first edition of 1939 is based on palmistry and the later editions were based on palmistry and ancient Vedanta system. Whereas in Vedanta system Rashi's (stars) are movable but according to Lal Kitab it is based on fixed houses or you can say 'Kaalpurush Kundli'.

The words and phrases used in Lal Kitab make big difference with other branches of astrology. Writer has used each word in a so beautiful way that it cannot be compared with others. Only a person who have good knowledge of Urdu and Rural Punjabi Language can understand its theme and admire.

The best part of Lal Kitab is that it teaches us 'Sanskars', how to live a noble life.
